Career Cohort
College of Engineering students can enroll in a voluntary program to provide a professional development jumpstart. The goal of the career cohorts is to prepare Spartan Engineers for their internship/co-op search.
THE COHORT PROGRAM

Cohorts will consist of a small group of students (~20-25) with two upperclassmen mentors.

Students will engage in 6 sessions focused on topics including:

Strengths and skills assessment

Career exploration
-
Leadership development
-
Writing value centric resumes and cover letters

Interviewing
-
Networking
-

Highly engaged students will be invited to participate in an exclusive networking event with company representatives upon completion of the program.

There is no cost to participate in the career cohort program.

Fall semester cohorts typically run early/mid October – Thanksgiving. Spring semester cohorts typically run late January – Spring Break.
STUDENT ELIGIBILTY

The career cohort is open to all College of Engineering students in their first or second year.

Interested students above their second year can contact Rachel for approval.
